Introduction

Dr. Anna Dupuy is a social anthropologist from EHESS (Paris),
specializing in Mongolia. Her research focuses on the daily interactions
between humans and household waste in contemporary Mongolia. Rather than framing waste solely from an environmental perspective, she emphasizes its creative role in shaping both social and physical worlds.
