Humboldt Graduate School
Improving the training for doctoral candidates is paramount to Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. One of the instruments to realise this is the Humboldt Graduate School – an umbrella organization for structured research programs. Its goal is to offer doctoral candidates excellent conditions to fulfill a doctorate. The task of Humboldt Graduate School is to ensure quality for its member programs. It offers a wide range of services for doctoral candidates like trainings for key competencies, mentoring and guidance and - if necessary - advice and support should a conflict arise.
The Women's Representative at Humboldt Graduate School provides a brochure (only available in German) with information about the compatibility of research and family.
Humboldt Graduate School offers travel grants to its member programs and to Humboldt-Universität’s Graduate Centers.
