Erasmus project with the partner country Mongolia
Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU) has successfully acquired an Erasmus project with the partner country Mongolia for the period of August 2022 to July 2025. The project leaders at HU are Dr. Ganchimeg Altangerel (Institute for Asian and African Studies) and Prof. Dr. Marcel Robischon (Albrecht Daniel Thaer Institute for Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences). In Mongolia, the project will be implemented with the partner institutions of the National University of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar (NUM), its branch Zavkhan School in Zavkhan province and the NGO MICA Mongolia.
The project will deal with cross-disciplinary topics from history and cultural studies, ethnology, and agroecology (including forestry). Dr. N. Altantögs and G. Bayarmaa from NUM are the first guests in the framework of this Erasmus project at HU as guest lecturer and PhD student, respectively.
