GAMSzine is the biannual and bilingual (English/German) magazine of the Department of Gender and Media Studies for the South Asian Region (GAMS) at HU Berlin.
GAMSzine comprises excerpts from newly published works or student theses that look at various intersections of Gender and Media Studies, very often with a regional focus on South Asia but also beyond. The magazine introduces new GAMS team members as well as visiting scholars at the department, and presents their current research activities.
We are particularly proud to provide space for young researchers to write about their innovative projects.
