The Seminar for Southeast Asian Studies would like to invite to the

Book presentation by Dr. Marlies Salazar. She will present her book "Perspectives on Philippine Languages: Five Centuries of European Scholarship" which recently received the National Book Award of the Philippines for best book in the social sciences and is the first comprehensive history of European studies on Philippine languages by Dutch, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish linguists.

The book presentation will be held at 4 - 6pm on Friday the 31st of January in room 117 at the Institute of Asian and African Studies.
