18.07.-20.07.22 Meeting "Kalahari Basin Area Languages and Cultures"
Together with the Institute for African Studies at the Goethe University Frankfurt a.M., the IAAW organised the conference "Kalahari Basin Area Languages and Cultures" from 18 to 20 July, which took place in Riezlern in Kleinwalsertal (Austria).
The focus of the contributions was on the non-Bantu languages of South Africa (Khoisan) and language contact phenomena in the language area of the Kalahari Basin.
The event was supported by a grant from the Fritz Thyssen Stiftung. (Ref. 30.22.0.062SL)
