The Bachelor's degree program in Area Studies Asia/Africa is a degree program that is supported by the entire Institute of Asian and African Studies (IAAW). The Institute has six departments, one of which is the department for Southeast Asian Studies, and three transregional departments. All seminars and transregional departments contribute modules to the BA program.

There is no separate BA program in this transregional department.
